The Home tab of DeductionPro is designed to give you quick access to all the information that youve entered about your charitable donations and deductible expenses.
The buttons on the left side of the screen correspond to the tasks that you perform most often, and theyre grouped according to the tab used to perform the task. When you click a button, DeductionPro displays the screen you need to use to complete the task. Click:
Enter Deductions—To enter or edit charitable donations or deductible expenses. For more information, see Using the Enter Deductions Tab.
Manage Charities—To enter the names and addresses of all the charities that you make donations to. For more information, see Managing Charities.
Quick Value Check—To quickly check the value of an item.
Printable Value Sheet—To print a list of items and their values.
Tax Tips—To find answers to your questions about what charitable activities and expenses are deductible.
TaxCut Import—To import your charitable donation and expense entries into TaxCut.
Reports—To create reports based on the entries that youve made in DeductionPro. For a list of the reports that you can view and print, see What reports can I create with DeductionPro?
Use the buttons on the right side of screen to get assistance or update your account information. Click:
Modify Account Info—To update your account information. When youre done making changes, click Save File & Begin to return to the Home tab.

In the upper right corner of this screen (and most other screens), DeductionPro displays a running tally of the total deductions that you have entered, and your estimated tax savings. This is known as the Summary area of the screen.
To view the total deductions for each tab, click the Details button to display the Summary Details window. For more information about a field in the Summary area, click the name of the field.
