Furcadia supports various gateway mechanisms, including SOCKS4 and SOCKS5. If you are using Furcadia through a Local Area Network (LAN), you may need to define your proxy/gateway/firewall addresses for Furcadia software. Check out the "Firewall and proxy" section of "Furcadia Configuration and Troubleshooting" utility located to your Furcadia directory (also accessible through the "Start" menu). Please note that Furcadia supports only username/password and "none" authentication methods with SOCKS5.

You can use "Configuration and Troubleshooting" utility to change Furcadia settings.
