Kansas City has earned the name "City of Fountains" over time. It owes this title to the hundreds of public water fountains within the city limits. Throughout the city are over two-hundred different fountains waiting to be found by residents and tourists alike. The picture to the left is of KC's best-known "J.C. Nichols Memorial Fountain." |
| Kansas City includes a huge variety of entertainment, including jazz clubs, museums, and holiday events, among other sources. Most holiday events are yearly, including the post-thanksgiving city plaza lighting. Shown in the picture to the right is the brand new Sprint Center, erected in 2007. The Sprint Center is one of the finest arenas in the country. | |
