Finding an Interview Topic

The Take Me To... dialog box lists all the topics in TaxCut's federal and state tax preparation process. It lets you see how much of the Interview you've completed and how much you have left to do. Use the Take Me To... button to jump directly to a specific topic anywhere in TaxCut.

In the Take Me To... dialog box, checkmarks and boxes to the left of the topics indicate their status:

• dark green box — Topic you need to complete

• white box — Topic you may need to complete

• light green box — Topic you are in the process of completing

• gray box — Topic you do not need to complete

• green checkmark in box — Topic you have completed

To view only those topics with a specific status:

1. In the View Topics By list, click on the circle next to the status you want to view.

To move to a topic:

1. Highlight the topic name in the topics list.

2. Click the Go To button.

To close the dialog without moving to another topic:

• Click Close.
