TaxCut's Search lets you locate what you're looking for from anywhere in the program. It allows you to:
Search
for an Interview Topic
Helps you find the federal or state Interview topic that is related
to a particular tax subject.
Search
for a Form
Helps you find any federal or state form and line where you can enter
specific information
Search
for Tax Advice and Information
Helps you find official IRS instructions
You can access TaxCut's Search from the main TaxCut window, the Take me to...dialog box, Help Central, and Forms Central.
If you don't find what you are looking for using our Search, or you need more help, you can always check our Frequently Asked Questions and Troubleshooting sections, or our Online Customer Support services.
Click the Search button.
Click on the arrow of the Search list box 1 and select the type of TaxCut information you want to search. You can choose to search All Content, Interviews, Forms, or Help.
The Search dialog displays an alphabetical list of tax subjects in list box 2.
Select the topic you want from the list in box 2. Based on your selection in list box 2, a list of specific topics and their locations appears in list box 3.
If applicable, select a specific topic from list box 3.
Click the Go There button. TaxCut closes the Search window and takes you to the corresponding window or feature.
Note: TaxCut's Search does not support searching for state instructions.
