A calculated entry is an entry that TaxCut automatically computes for you based on other entries you made on the same form or on other forms.
When you attempt to edit an entry that is calculated, you have two options:
Overriding lets you edit the entry on the current form. However, when you override an entry, the new entry is not carried to entries on other forms.
Note: We don't recommend this option. You may need to do this occasionally, however, you should override a field only when you are certain that you are entering the correct information. If you are unsure, let TaxCut automatically compute this entry for you. Also, overriding most entries will prevent you from e-filing your return.
