Overriding will allow you to edit the entry on the form you are currently on. However, when you override an entry, the new entry is not carried to entries on other forms.
Note: This is not the recommended option. You should override a field only when you are certain that you are entering the correct information. If you are unsure, let TaxCut take you to the related form or worksheet to revisit the original entries.
Click the Override button. TaxCut displays an edit dialog box with tabs.
On the Entry Information tab, click the Override this entry box. A checkmark will appear in the box.
Enter a value in the field below.
Click OK. The entry appears in red.
Click in the field with the override. TaxCut displays an edit dialog box with tabs.
On the Entry Information tab, uncheck the Override this entry box by clicking in it. The value will be grayed out. On the Entry Info tab, uncheck the Override box by clicking in it.
Click OK. If the field is a calculated field, the calculated entry will be restored. Otherwise, the entry will be removed.
