Importing Data From Last Year's Return

If you used TaxCut or TurboTax last year, you can import information from last year's return and use it as the starting point for this year's return. Importing data from last year can shorten the process of preparing your tax return.

In the Choose File to Import dialog box, select last year's return. If you saved your return to a different folder than the default My Documents\TaxCut folder, navigate to the folder where last year's return is saved.
Select it and click Open.
