Viewing and Printing Form 8283

Macintosh users: You must use Adobe Reader to open Form 8283.

To view and print Form 8283:

1. On the Review & Finish tab, click IRS Form 8283.

2. Fill in all fields, and then click Next.

   For details, see Creating a Copy of Form 8283.

3. If you have more than five noncash donations, click View Form beside the form that you want to view or print.

   Note: You can have only one form open at a time. You must close the form that you currently have open before clicking View Form beside another form.

4. If you have Adobe Reader installed, Form 8283 will automatically open.

5. If you don’t have Adobe Reader installed, you must download the application and install it. To download the latest version, visit www.adobe.com.

6. Return to DeductionPro and repeat steps 1 through 3 to view Form 8283.

   To print the form, click Print on the File menu in Adobe Reader, and then click OK when the Print dialog box opens.

Note: Make sure to print all copies of Form 8283 to file with your return.
