pub struct Tunnel {
pub enable: bool,
pub protocol: Option<String>,
}Expand description
[shell.tunnel] — the opt-in for the opaque reliable-ordered byte tunnel
(M11-W3, REQ-SHELL-4): a dedicated QUIC stream pair bound to the owner↔shell
link, carrying wire protocol traffic the channel taxonomy must NOT reinterpret
(first consumer: USB/IP URB traffic). Not enveloped, not MAC-framed, not
spooled; the link lifecycle governs it (a link-break closes the tunnel).
Reliable-ordered ⇒ congestion surfaces as lag never loss ⇒ on-LAN posture.
Fields§
§enable: boolWhether this shell opens the opaque tunnel on link-up.
protocol: Option<String>Optional diagnostic label for the opaque wire protocol (e.g. usbip-urb).
Informational only — the substrate never interprets tunnel bytes.
