7- Creating New Tiles

* Although the default tileset contains a good number of tiles for creating boards, you will probably want to make your own tiles as well.

* On the main screen, select Edit Tile. This will open up a new window the Tile Editor.

* The Tile Editor allows you to create your own graphics.

* To begin with, select a color from the bottom of the window by clicking on the color palette.

* This will allow you to lay down pixels in the grid of the color that you have selected.

* By clicking in the grid, you can set pixels in your tile. To the right, there are a number of tools to aid you in your drawing (such as fill, erase, draw lock, etc).

* Draw a tile that you think you could use on your board (for example, something like a brick wall).

* Once your tile is finished, we will save it into a new tileset. Go to the File menu, and select Save As. When it prompts you for a filename, type in mytiles.tst, or some similar name.

* After doing this, you can create a new graphic. When it comes time to save it, save it with the same filename as before, and it will be added to the tileset we just created (i.e., now the tileset will have 2 tiles in it).

* Now you can go back into the board editor and use your new tiles. You can select your new tileset by hitting the 'Select Tile' button at the bottom of the window (5th from the left). Just tell it to open your new tileset, and you will be able to select tiles out of it and lay them down on your board.
