You can enable logging for individual Web and FTP sites and choose the log format. When logging is enabled, it is enabled for all the site's directories, however, you can disable it for specific directories.
To enable logging on a Web or FTP site
- Select a Web or FTP site, and open its property sheets.
- On the Web Site or FTP Site property sheet, select the Enable Logging check box.
- In the Active log format list, select a format. By default, the Enable Logging check box is selected and the format is W3C Extended Log File Format, with the following fields enabled: Time, Client IP Address, Method, URI Stem, and HTTP Status.
- Click Apply.
- Click OK.
To disable or enable logging for a specific directory on a site
- Select the directory, and open its property sheets.
- On the Home Directory or Directory property sheet, find the Log visits check box. By default, the check box is selected.
- To disable logging for the directory, clear the check box; to enable logging, select the check box. These settings do not affect process accounting.
