State forms are available at post offices, libraries, and other distribution sites, which vary by state. 

You can also order forms by phone, fax, or mail, or get them from your state taxing authority's Web site. For links to all state Web sites, go the State Tax Info page at www.taxcut.com/taxcut/state_irsinfo.

In the top right corner of the screen, you'll find an Interview button. Click it to return to your place in the Interview.

• On the Error Check window, click the Close Window button. 
• Click the Take Me To button located above the FAQs. 
• Scroll through the list to locate the topic you want to go to. 
• Then select it and click the Go button. 
• When you finish making your changes, come back to the Error Check window and we'll check your return again.

If you made more than four estimated tax payments, please click Whole Form and enter those additional payments and the dates you made them in the additional spaces provided.

If you choose to complete and file your state return later, you may miss the chance to e-file it. E-filing requirements differ from state to state, but some states require federal and state returns to be e-filed at the same time. Of course, if you intend to file a paper return, file whenever you like -- just be sure you don't miss the deadline!

Because state taxing authorities release state forms as late as December and January, at the time we release our state CD's, we may not have been able to include all of the necessary state tax forms.

Before you begin your return, we want to make sure you have all of your state tax forms so we ask you to download the "complete version" of the state program. The complete version of the state program includes all of your state tax forms.

Enter state estimated payments in the Deductions section of your federal Interview. To enter your state estimated tax payments:

1. Click Take Me To.
2. In Take Me To, go to the Federal Interview topic, then scroll down to the Deductions section. Then double click Other State and Local Taxes.
3. Check "2007 Estimated taxes".
4. Enter your estimated state taxes paid in the Enter 2007 State Estimated Tax Payments screen.
5. After entering your information, return to the Taxes, Payments, and Penalties Summary screen in the SN Interview. You can view estimated tax payments applied to your SN return.

After you obtain the complete version of the state program, you may still need to update it. The update will include any last-minute changes in the calculations -- not in the actual forms, so you won't need to return to any state topics or forms you've already completed. We'll be sure to remind you when it's time to update.
