TaxCut's Refund/Owe Meter, in the upper right corner of the TaxCut window, always displays your current refund amount or the balance due. If you have both the federal and state programs installed, TaxCut displays amounts for both your federal and state return as you complete them.
Note: If you have more than one state program installed, TaxCut displays a drop-down list above the State Refund/Owe Meter. Select the state from this list to display the associated amount.
When you click on the Meter, TaxCut displays the Tax Summary report which shows more details on where your money went. You can also display the Tax Summary information and view other reports summarizing your tax return, from the Reports menu.
