TaxCut's main window displays five tabs; Welcome, Federal, State, File, and Plan. Each tab includes Interview questions that walk you through the topics within that tab. For example, the Federal tab includes topics related to Personal information, Dependents, Income, Adjustments, Deductions, and Credits, etc.
When you click on one of the five tabs, TaxCut displays the main topics for that tab in the Topic Navigator bar. As you are walking through the Interview, TaxCut highlights the associated tab and Topic Navigator main topic to indicate where you are in the Interview process.
If you click on one of the main topics listed in The Topic Navigator bar, TaxCut does one of two things:
Goes directly to that topic, if the topic has no subtopics.
Displays a list of all the subtopics within that main topic. You can scroll down the list and click the Go To link next to the topic to jump to it.
