TaxCut's Import Wizard allows you to easily import your financial information from Microsoft Money 2005, 2006, 2007, or Money Plus directly into TaxCut. TaxCut's Import Wizard guides you through the import process.
On the Federal tab follow the instructions that TaxCut displays until you get to the Import Data From Financial Software screen.
Select Yes, and then click Next.
Select the finance program you use, and then click Next.
Click Import. TaxCut displays the Import Wizard.
Read the instructions and click Next.
Select the file you want to import and click Next. If the file you want to import is in a different folder, click the Browse button to locate it.
Uncheck any accounts you do not want to import from, and click Next.
On the Import Preview, click on a check box next to an item to uncheck it. TaxCut does not import any items you unselect.
Click the Import button to automatically import the data.
From the File menu, select Save to save your return.
From the File menu, choose Import Financial Information. TaxCut displays the Import Financial Information dialog box listing the financial software.
Select the financial software program and version you use, and click OK. TaxCut displays the Import Wizard.
Read the instructions and click Next.
Select the file you want to import and click Next. If the file you want to import is in a different folder, click the Browse button to locate it.
Uncheck any accounts you do not want to import from, and click Next.
On the Import Preview, click on a check box next to an item to uncheck it. TaxCut does not import any items you unselect.
Click the Import button to automatically import the data.
From the File menu, select Save to save your return.
As you go through the Interview, TaxCut displays the data that you imported as green text. Change anything you need to at that time. You can also view and change the imported information any time by selecting Review Financial Imports from the Reports menu to display the Import Report.
