If you are trying to install a state program that you purchased on another computer:
Go to www.taxcut.com/customer_support/getting_started/unlockcode to generate another Install Key.
or
Call Customer Service at 1-888-4TAXCUT (1-888-482-9288).
Give the customer service person your User Code. This can be found on the Unlock and Install State Program dialog box. Ask the agent for another Unlock key. Explain that you have already purchased and unlocked the full filing edition and that you want to install it on an additional computer. You will need your original billing information so that the agent can verify your previous purchase. You will not be charged for the second key.
Once you receive your new Install Key, open TaxCut.
Insert the TaxCut CD into your drive.
Go to the Tools menu and select Unlock and Install State Program.
Enter the new Install Key and Name.
Select the state program and edition from the drop down lists provided
Click OK.
If you purchased the state program and you receive a message indicating the install key is not valid, verify that you have entered the correct Key and Name by copying and pasting the information directly from the confirmation e-mail that you received. The User Code displayed in the dialog box must match the User Code in your confirmation e-mail to install the state program on this computer.
Note: If you still receive this error message, go to www.taxcut.com/customer_support/getting_started/unlockcode to generate another Install Key.
