Traditional Printed Return
A traditional printed return has some advantages over the other ways
of filing:
- It is familiar.
- It is detailed. It contains official IRS text. Reviewing a printed return from a prior year is easy you look at your return and identify your income and deductions.
- A traditional return is useful when you have to provide
your tax return to others for, say, financial aid applications or home
mortgage applications.
- No matter which filing method you use to submit your return to the IRS, it makes sense to print a traditional return for your records. You just never know when you might need it!
To file your return using the traditional printing method see the printing forms instructions.
