Where It Went

In a pie chart, TaxCut illustrates where your income went. The chart shows how much of your income that went toward federal, state, and local taxes. It also shows how much you paid in Social Security and Medicare tax, as well as how much of your income you got to keep.

To view the Where It Went diagram:

1. Click the Take Me To button to open the Take Me To...dialog box.

2. Scroll down to the section Reviewing Your Federal Return.

3. Select Where It Went and click Go To. TaxCut displays a breakdown of your taxes.

Note: After you complete your return, you can get more detailed information by clicking on the Plan tab and using TaxCut's planning tools.
