TaxCut allows you to finish your return with more convenience than ever before using TaxCut's import technology. You can save time and avoid errors when you automatically import your W-2 wage and 1099 investment data from participating employers and financial institutions over the Internet. Here's how:
When you get to the Income from Your Job topic or the Importing 1099s topic in the Interview, we'll ask if you'd like to see if you can import your information. Just follow the instructions displayed by TaxCut.
If you want to jump directly to the topic, click the Take Me To... button, select Income from Your Job or Importing 1099s from the Interview topic list, and click Go To.
Next, we'll check to make sure your employer, bank, or financial institution is participating in the program.
If you're importing 1099 information, our Import Wizard will ask for the username and password you use to access your account over the Internet. If you don't already access your account over the Internet, you'll need to be able to do so before you import your information. If you're not sure how to set this up, we'll help you.
Then we'll import your information right into your return. We'll give you the chance to take a look at the imported information after we've finished.
