Print Copies and Create a Backup of Your Return

Before you head for the post office, we recommend that you print a copy and create a backup of your tax return.

  1. Click Next to proceed to the Print Returns for Your Records window.

  2. Select Federal from the list box and click Begin.

  3. You can print all the forms that are part of your filed return as well as Supporting Forms, Mini-worksheets, and Itemized Lists. Select the items you want to print, then click the Print button.

  4. Click Next. TaxCut returns you to the Print Returns for Your Records window.

  5. If you have used TaxCut's State program to complete your state return, select your state name from the list box, click Begin, and repeat steps 3 and 4 above. Otherwise, go to step 6.

  6. Click Next Topic.

  7. TaxCut prompts you to create a backup of your return. Click the Backup button.
