Note: If you did not use TaxCut's State program to complete your state return, skip these instructions.
After you review the checklist for your federal return, click Next. TaxCut displays the Print and File State Return window.
Select your state from the list box and click Next.
TaxCut reminds you to check for a State program update before filing your state return. On the Check for State Program Updates window, click the Check for Update button.
If you have a refund coming, TaxCut allows you to choose between two different methods for receiving your refund; Direct Deposit or Check. If you owe a tax payment, TaxCut allows you to choose between three different payment methods; Check, Credit Card, or Easy Pay line of credit. Select the tax refund or payment method you plan to use and click Next.
TaxCut may collect some additional information depending on the payment or refund option you have chosen. Click Next, once you have entered the additional information.
On the Print Your State Return For Filing window, click the Print Return button. TaxCut checks your state return one last time. If errors are found, TaxCut notifies you and allows you to display the Error Check window and fix the errors. If you choose not to fix the errors or no errors are found, TaxCut asks you to verify that your printer is ready.
Make sure your printer is ready and click OK. Your state return is immediately sent to the printer. TaxCut prints all forms and schedules that need to be submitted to the state as well as cover pages with filing instructions.
After you have printed your state return, click Next. TaxCut displays a checklist that helps you assemble your forms and attachments in the proper order for filing. Review the checklist. To print a copy of the checklist, click the Print Checklist button.
Once you have printed your checklist, click Next. TaxCut returns you to the Print and File State Return window. If you have additional state returns to file, repeat steps 2 through 8 above for each state return, otherwise click the Next Topic button.
