How does the Tax Planner estimate your taxes?

The Tax Planner uses your tax-related data. It can base the estimate on transactions you've already entered or have scheduled, last year's TurboTax return, or numbers you give it- you decide. The Tax Planner knows what's tax-related by tracking income and expense categories that are linked to tax line items. If you create new tax-related categories, you can link them to tax line items with Tax Line Item Assignment.
