There are two places on your tax return where you may need to report donations:
Report money donations, item donations with a total fair market value of $500 or less, and out-of-pocket expenses on Schedule A.
View or print the IRS Schedule A report for information on the line items you need to report on Schedule A. For details on how to create a report, see Creating Reports.
In addition, if your item donations have a total fair market value of more than $500, then you must also complete Form 8283.
If you have entered these donations into DeductionPro, you can have DeductionPro automatically complete Form 8283 for you. For details on how to do this, see Creating a Copy of Form 8283.
