Dream
---------

It was after school. I had already said goodbye to Chloe with a big hug, and was waiting for a bus ride home. Someone is talking to me when suddenly I hear Chloe respond. I look beside me and there she is, but she quickly walks ahead as if she had nothing to do with me. I walk hurriedly after her as she goes through the double doors into the school, and when close enough I ask how long she'd been standing there next to me. Judging from her reaction, it's been quite a long time and she is irritated. We turn to head back outside, and I open the door for her as I express my frustration to her that I hadn't noticed because I never turned my head or heard her there. She still seems irritated, but tells me it is okay and I can tell she means it and is trying to get over it. We walk together back to the pillar where I waited for the bus. I ask what she is still doing there, and as it turns out, there was some outdoor event on the other side of the school, which she was going to take part in, that was cancelled.

New scene. I walk into what seems to be a single-story mens dorm about the size of two of the back room from the youth building side-by-side. It was somewhat dark; the lights were off, but sunlight filtered in through a row of partially-blinded windows along the long wall adjacent to me. There are quite a few guys hanging out there, on their beds and couches. This is apparently where I've been staying. As I reach the section of it that I stay in and which I share with another guy, Chloe surprisingly walks in and toward my section. The other guys make a slightly big deal about it as she passes them, because it is seemingly against 'campus' rules. I don't know what to say, and she says she's just coming to hang out for awhile. She walks toward the bed I apparently must share with the other guy, who is in it and sleeping, and she gets in and under the covers, facing outward toward me. She sighs and closes her eyes. I shrug and sit cross-legged at the foot of the bed as her and I begin to conversate. I am playing with the carpet when she says something like, 'Rain on my face?' For some reason, the context of our conversation leads me to believe that she is worried some guy here might urinate on her face. I am all 'o.O;;' and say, 'No, no one here would do that to you-' as I look up to see here face. Her eyes are open and her face is wet, but she is just laying there. I am extremely confused at first, wondering where the water came from as more pours down her face and begins to wash her makeup down it. I straighten my back to sit up and see that the guy behind her is awake, and is casually pouring water from his water bottle down the side of her face. I can tell she is frustrated as she makes a snide remark about the guy, still just laying otherwise motionless. I tell him to stop too, and he acts like he is going to before he just pours more as if he never planned to stop. So I stand up, put my knees on the edge of the bed in front of Chloe, grab the water bottle from him and grab the hand that was holding it, applying high pressure to imply my seriousness. I glare coldly at him, straight into his eyes and unwavering as I tell him to stop once more. At first, he looks as if he will begin to complain and almost says something. But, presumably it is the piercing look in my eyes which he catches when he falls away into silence. During this, Chloe escapes from the bed. The guy says 'fine,' and as I let go and step back off the bed, he gets out and walks away pouting. Just then, I notice the screen of a computer which is against the wall right behind where he layed. Some white text is scrolling over a black background, and I catch a line that reads, 'Uploading [some name which depicts the scene of me grasping his hand threateningly].jpg ...' And assume that someone else in the dorm had taken a picture of what I just did, and is uploading it to the internet. I think 'greeeat' as I turn around to see Chloe sitting and spinning in a chair near a decently-sized rounded lunch table. Her knees are up against her, her arms wrapped around them. I tell her what I think I've found out. We essentially shrug it off, and move on. She brings up something she found out at the hospital. Spinning more, she explains that she has some kind of muscular issue and will die from it. But judging from her tone of voice, that wasn't happening anytime soon so I say, 'Everyone dies...' Chloe pauses and lets the spinning stop, then mysteriously speaks these words with a smirk: 'But this time, I can come back to life.' 'Come back to life...?' I ask, puzzled. She seems to nod as I walk closer to her and she pushes off into another spin. I walk to the opposite side of her, imploring her to explain. She does not reply, and the dream ends.
