I have quite a devotion to all things Mountain Dew, and have recently begun to create a veritable "Rainbow" of Mountain Dew across the top of a shelf over my desk at work using both cans and bottles of the various mainstream and limited edition runs.

Sadly, one of the more interesting "colors" or Mountain Dew is a flavor called "Baja Blast" that is only offered as a fountain drink at some Taco Bells, and no distribution packaging has ever existed in the form of bottles or cans so.... I decided to empty a 20 ounce bottle of another "Dew," fill it up with said fountain beverage, and "create" packaging.

Since the only images online of this were incredibly, INCREDIBLY low resolution and distorted, this ended up turning into a full-fledged "art" project, and meant I had to vector everything you see, by hand.

Let me repeat: _by hand_.

Nothing you see is due to a "trace" function, but is instead painfully crafted so that once I print it out for the bottle in question, all of the edges will be lovingly "crisp" and pure.

I'm -REALLY- happy with how it turned out. This resolution is a great deal smaller than the actual version, of course. And the nutrition facts and ingredients are what I was able to find for "Baja Blast" as well. Woo!

I can't WAIT to put it all together ...

... even if no one at work will be able to appreciate how much time and effort went into this. >_>

This reminds me of so many hours I spent "greeking" labels for my work in Television and Film... oh what a happy day it is when I do this sort of thing during my free time? Weird!
