Watching the Installation Progress

The Drive Settings installation progress screen shows a progress bar and an estimated time-remaining status to indicate the progress of the installation.

To continue with the Drive Settings installation procedure:

1. Wait for the installation procedure to complete. The message WD SmartWare™ successfully installed appears.
2. Click Continue Setup to display the Drive Settings screen.

If you have changed your mind about the installation, or instead want to perform your first backup operation after completing the installation procedure:

1. Click Cancel Install and wait for the file cleanup operation to complete.
2. After the file cleanup operation completes, do either of the following:
   • Click Install to restart the Drive Settings installation procedure.
   • Click Back to Start to redisplay the What would you like to do? prompt.
