To display the readme file, click [Start] button, point to [All Programs], [VAIO Media], [Server Administration], and then click [VAIO Media Integrated Server Readme]. * Operating environment The supported operating environment for VAIO Media includes VAIO computers that shipped with one of the following operating systems: Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional. * Supported network interfaces The following network interfaces are supported by VAIO Media: - VAIO built-in Ethernet and wireless LAN interface - Sony wireless LAN interface cards * Screen resolution restriction If the height of the screen is 480 pixels, maximize the window of VAIO Media before using it. * Guest account If you are logged on with a Guest account, this program may not operate properly. Log on using an Administrator or a Standard user (Limited user) account when using this program. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Known problems * Common problems with VAIO Media - The list of contents takes a long time to appear If there are many songs registered in one playlist in VAIO Media Music Server, the song list may take a long time to appear. If there are many photo files stored in a single folder in VAIO Media Photo Server, the thumbnail list of the photo files may take a long time to appear, or the photo information may not transfer from the server computer to the client computer. In this situation, distribute the photo files among several folders. If there are many Video Capsules registered in a cabinet in VAIO Media Video Server, the Video Capsule list of the cabinet may take a long time to appear. - Problem when starting VAIO Media from Windows Media Center When starting VAIO Media from Windows Media Center using a remote control, VAIO Media may not come to the front, possibly causing the remote control to not operate properly.
