To play DSD Files with other computers

Installing DSD to PCM Playback Plug-in on a computer that does not support DSD playback allows you to play DSD files (*.dsf) with Windows Media Player.

Obtaining the Installer
Follow the steps below to obtain the Installer
1.
Click (Get Installer) below.
A dialog box appears.
2.
Click Save.
A dialog box appears where you can specify the save destination of the Installer.
3.
Specify the location where you want to save the Installer (DSD to PCM Playback Plug-in.exe).
4.
Click Save.
The Installer is saved in the specified location.
5.
Copy the Installer to CD-R, "Memory Stick", or other storage media compatible with the computer where you want to copy the Installer.

Installing DSD to PCM Playback Plug-in

Before running the Installer
  • If you use Windows Vista:
    When you install DSD to PCM Playback Plug-in on your computer as a standard user, Windows might ask you to provide an administrator password.
    In this case, enter the password.
  • If you use Windows XP:
    Log on to your computer as a user with administrator access privileges. If you are currently logged on to a restricted account, log off the account and log on again as a user with administrator access privileges.
  • Make sure that you do not run the Installer over a network.

Close all other programs running on your computer.
2.
Insert the storage media containing the Installer into the appropriate drive of your computer.
3.
Access the storage media containing the Installer, and double-click "DSD to PCM Playback Plug-in Setup.exe".
