This is the Soft Synth Properties window for a DLS soft synth.

By default, the GS sound set is used. If you have other DLS voice sets on your computer, you can click the Open DLS Voice Set button to use a different voice set.

A voice set can contain many voices (sounds). Select an entry in the Available voices list to choose the sound that will be used to for the soft synth.

You can click the keys on the piano keyboard in the Soft Synth Properties window to preview the selected sound. The Enable Real-Time MIDI command (located under the Options menu) must be selected to use the keyboard.

When you are ready to continue, click the Next button.
