The VST Effects tab allows you to indicate where your VST plug-ins are installed and to select which plug-ins you want to make available for use as audio effects.

The path displayed in the Default VST search folder box is the folder where the application looks for VST plug-ins during startup.

You can click the Browse button next to the Alternate VST search folder 1 and Alternate VST search folder 2 boxes to choose two additional folders where you have VST plug-ins installed.

The Select VST effects to be available as audio plug-ins box displays all VST effects that are currently available. Select a plug-in's check box to make it available for use as an audio effect.

When you use a VST plug-in, software will lock it for the remainder of your session. A lock () is displayed next to the check box to indicate that the plug-in cannot be removed until you close and restart the application.

When you are ready to continue, click the Next button.
