Clicking this button will display the track's effects settings in the
Audio Plug-In window.
- When a track has non-in-place plug-ins applied, the button is displayed

. Clicking
this button will display the track's effects settings in the Audio Plug-In
window.
A chain that has non-in-place plug-ins applied is displayed with a different
icon to let you know that the effects chain may cause your audio to play
out of synchronization with the waveform display in the timeline and with
other tracks. A plug-in is described as non-in-place when
its output may not match the length of its input: Time Stretch, for example
will
make
an
audio
signal
longer
or shorter
than its original length.
