What a boring world it would be if all music were played in machine-perfect straight time!

The Groove Pool allows you to change the feel of a piece of music by applying a groove map to change the music's rhythm and timing.

The top of the Groove Pool displays the available groove maps in your project, and the bottom of the window uses markers to show you how the selected groove map will adjust timing.

One of the best ways to get familiar with grooves is to experiment a bit: take a loop you know well and add it to the timeline. Loop playback, and drag groove maps from the Groove Pool and drop them on your loop. You'll be able to hear how each groove map changes the loop's timing.
