How do I connect to iTunes?

First, download the iTunes Helper from www.HobbyistSoftware.com/remote

When you run the helper, click on the 'Setup Pairing' button to go through the pairing process.

I'm having trouble connecting to iTunes

This is most likely to be a firewall problem. To test, I suggest turning off the firewall on your computer -and- the firewall on your router. If you can connect after that, then you can turn the firewalls back on and tweak their settings to make sure that you allow the Pre and the iTunes helper to communicate.
