Notation Composer User's Guide Via the Internet

If the Notation Composer User's Guide is installed on your system, then you will not need to use this User's Guide Via the Internet. To determine whether the Notation Composer User's Guide is installed on your system:

  1. Click the Start button in the lower left corner of screen. This will display a menu.
  2. Select 'Programs' in the menu. This will display a menu of application"program folders" available on your system.
  3. Find the "Notation Composer" folder in the list. Hold the mouse cursor over the folder name "Notation Composer". This will display a second menu for tools for Notation Composer.
  4. If "Notation Composer User's Guide" is listed, click it. (The file is named composer.chm.) If the User's Guide is then displayed, this means that the Notation Composer User's Guide is located on your system, and you do not need access the User's Guide via the Internet.

If you installed Notation Composer using the "small setup" program, then the User's Guide file composer.chm will not be installed on your system. You can install it by downloading and running the Notation Composer Help Setup program at www.notation.com/ComposerHelpSetup.htm.

If you do not wish to download and install the User's Guide file, then you can access it via the Internet at www.notation.com/ComposerDocs/ComposerDocs.htm. This requires that your system be connected to the Internet while you access the User's Guide.
