In this dialogue you set how to access the web control panel. Using the web control panel you can view and delete recordings.

Eyeline supports web access which, if enabled, lets you log onto the Eyeline using any ordinary web browser over your network or even the Internet (if you set your firewall to allow it). After you log in with your a mailbox remote access code you check the messages for that mailbox remotely.

To activate this feature tick the "Enable web control..."

To offer the web access control panel this software runs as a mini web server. It runs on port 85 (the normal port is 80 but Eyeline does not use this in case you have another web server on the same computer).

To access the web control panel use one of the following address formats in your Internet browser.

http://localhost:port eg. http://localhost:85 (if Eyeline is running on this computer)
http://computername:port eg. http://mycomputer:85 (for use on a local computer network)
http://privateip:port eg. http://192.168.0.1:85 (for use on a local computer network)
http://publicip:port eg. http://212.137.22.14:85 (for internet use)
http://domainname:port eg. http://inform.mycompany.com:85 (advanced option - if you have a DNS)

You need to make sure your firewall is not blocking the port (default port 85). Refer to your firewall settings to check the correct TCP/IP port is opened.

Speak to your network administrator about any networking problems you have. They can usually quickly fix routing or firewall problems.
