To open System-Wide Hot Keys Settings use the menu Options -> Keys.

When you are working with Debut open in the foreground, you can control recording using the Standard Recording Buttons.

You can also assign 'hot' keys that can be used to control recording while you are working in other application with Debut in the background. To do this, use the Keys tab of Options. Click Add, press the key that you want to use (including Alt or Ctrl if required) then select the command.

Note: Hot key assignments override the standard key assignments.

To change an existing Hot Key assignment, select the key from the list and click the "Change" button. Then either click the "Change Key" button on the Select Command popup window to change the command assignment to a different key or key combination, or select a different command to associate with the hot key.

To remove a hot key completely, select the key from the System-Wide Hot Key Assignment list and click the "Remove" button.
