Selling on credit

Before making a sale on credit, check whether the customer’s account is in good standing. Are there overdue invoices? Is the customer nearing their credit limit? For new customers, or large new orders, you may want to verify creditworthiness before extending credit. It’s also important to make sure your customer understands your credit policy at the time of sale.
