Replace one clip with another
Using one of the following keyboard modifiers, drag a clip from the Project panel onto a clip in the Timeline panel:
- To use the In point of the new clip, Alt-drag (Windows) or Option-drag (Mac OS).
- To apply the In point of the original clip to the new clip, Shift-Alt-drag (Windows) or Shift-Option-drag (Mac OS).
In the Timeline, clip position and effects are preserved.
