Extract all of the files in this archive to a folder for Audiosurfboard, then run the Audiosurf installer. Before you run the game, though, run this program first, and follow the below steps to resolve any potential problems:

Can't run it? Make sure you have the .NET framework. Don't know what that is? You definitely need it. Download it from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en

Running but not working? Make sure these lines are in your hosts file (add them on their own line if they aren't; do not overwrite what's already there!):

127.0.0.1 204.13.11.27
127.0.0.1 audio-surf.com
127.0.0.1 www.audio-surf.com

Your hosts file is located in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. Open it with notepad.

Check the updater.ini file in your Audiosurf folder. Make sure the app version is either 1 or 2. If it's 3, set it to 2 and delete patchfile.zip from the Audiosurf folder.

Don't try to create a username. Just enter anything in the username and password boxes to log in.

If for some reason you can't modify the hosts file, I have included my own with which you can simply replace yours.
