Enable filling in a form without fields

If Adobe Reader users need to electronically fill in a document without form fields, you must specifically allow that capability in the PDF.

  1. Choose Tools > Typewriter > Enable Typewriter Tool In Adobe Reader.
  2. If a message appears, click OK.
  3. Type a filename, specify a location, and click Save.
Note: When you enable special usage rights for Reader, some access to the PDF is limited, so you may want to save the PDF with a different name.
