Request someone's certificate

Certificates you receive from others are kept in a list of trusted identities, which you can use to validate signatures and encrypt documents.

  1. Choose Advanced > Manage Trusted Identities, and click Request Contact.
  2. Type your contact information.
  3. Select Email Request or Save Request As A File.
  4. Follow on-screen instructions to send the email or save the file.

You can also send your certificate at the same time by selecting Include My Certificates when adding your contact information.
