Measure an object

The measuring tools are useful for determining the width, height, or area of an object in a form or CAD drawing.

  1. Choose Tools > Measuring, and select a measuring tool.
  2. Click the first point, and then click each additional point you want to measure.
  3. If using the Perimeter or Area tool, click on the first point to complete the measurement.

The measurement appears in the measuring tool dialog box.
