Make a PDF accessible

Improve the accessibility of a PDF by adding and editing tags.

  1. Choose Advanced > Accessibility > Add Tags To Document.
  2. Click a link in the tagging report to navigate to a problem area.
  3. Choose Advanced > Accessibility > TouchUp Reading Order to correct tagging problems.

It’s best to tag a document in the original application before creating a PDF. Problems can then be corrected in Acrobat using the TouchUp Reading Order tool.
