Set up grids, rulers, and guides

To turn on or off a layout tool, choose View > Grid, Rulers, or Guides.

To create a guide, turn on rulers, and then double-click at the desired location on the horizontal or vertical ruler.

To reposition a guide, drag it to a new location.

To snap objects to the grid, select View > Snap to Grid.
