PyGTK is a set of bindings for the GTK widget set. It provides an object 
oriented interface that is slightly higher level than the C one. It 
automatically does all the type casting and reference counting that you 
would have to do normally with the C API.

Build instructions:
  unpack python-gtk2.0-2.16.0-X-src.tar.bz2
    if you use setup to install this src package, it will be
	 unpacked under /usr/src automatically
  cd /usr/src
  cygport ./python-gtk2.0-2.16.0-X.cygport all

This will create:
  /usr/src/python-gtk2.0-2.16.0-X-src.tar.bz2
  /usr/src/python-gtk2.0-2.16.0-X.tar.bz2
  /usr/src/python-gtk2.0-demo-2.16.0-X.tar.bz2
  /usr/src/python-gtk2.0-devel-2.16.0-X.tar.bz2
