Warn when hard drive space is low
This option allows you to specify a warning level for the minimum quantity of free space available on the computer's hard drive. When the amount of free space falls to or below this level, Debut displays a warning message. The default level of free space is 200 MB.
Limit maximum recording time (h:mm:ss)
Enable this option if you want to place a limit on the length a recording can reach. You can select the maximum length in the window to the right.
You can also specify if the recording should be completely stopped or the new recording should be started.
Minimize Debut window before starting screen capture
Enable this option if you want the Debut to be automatically minimized when you start recording in the screen capture mode.
Disable preview when recording in screen capture
You can disable preview video to avoid the mirror effect for screen capture mode. If you have multiple monitors, you can move the Debut window into the monitor that isn't the recording monitor.
Quick stop from tray
From the tray menu, you can start, pause or stop the recording. If this mode is selected, left click in the tray will stop the recording.
Highlight cursor
Enable this option if you want to highlight the cursor during recording.
Mouse move radius and color
You can specify the highlight radius and color of mouse moving.
Mouse click radius, colors and delay
You can specify the highlight radius, colors and delay of mouse click.
Tone
With these options you can choose to have a tone play when Debut starts or stops recording.
In some environments you are required to play a tone while recording. To do this, tick the box "Sound record tone every (secs)" and enter the number of seconds between tones in the edit box.
