Translation Editor can edit and re-translate text while displaying its translation results concurrently. You can translate text and correct the translation results by comparing them with the original text interactively as all of them are displayed in the same window simultaneously.

Application Translation translates documents that have been opened by another application such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader in collaboration with those applications.

Web Translation translates Japanese Web pages into English, or English Web pages into Japanese in collaboration with Internet Explorer 5.01 or later. It can translate part or all of a Web page.

If you use Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes Mail or Becky!, you can use the Mail Translation toolbar to translate a displayed mail item.

Clipboard Translation translates text copied onto the clipboard, and displays the results in a new window. It can be used with any sentences on the computer screen.

Using the ATLAS translation memory increases work efficiency when translating documents such as manuals and technical documents into which similar sentence is frequently translated.

User dictionaries can be a very effective way to improve translation quality. ATLAS provides many tools for managing and editing user dictionaries, including tools for batch registration of words and translation memory, and tools for merging, reindexing, and backup of dictionaries.

Common dictionaries are user dictionaries that can be shared by multiple users in a group. By uploading common dictionaries to the Common Folder configured on a network, administrators and users in a group can use the same dictionaries.

You can set dictionaries used and translation styles as the translation environment for each type of document to be translated (Thesis, Letter/Mail, Contract, etc) to obtain better translations.

Mouse Translation allows you to translate sentences you want to translate by simply clicking the target sentence while holding down a key.

Key Type Translation translates text while entering text. You can translate text without lifting your hands from your keyboard.

When Microsoft Agent is installed, the ATLAS speech function can read text aloud during Web Translation, Translation Editor or other ATLAS functions.

Internet Update allows you to download the latest user dictionary that can be used with ATLAS and product plug-ins from the ATLAS Internet Update Web page. (Japanese page only)
