Rebased onto landed #245 (`9da98975`), per Doyle's gate instruction; new head `96f4effb9de6961345b0f3a73a1f2dcfeaf60f55`. Explicit lease against previous head `c248cb84a399fd29ef1e822e2344fa030ab3f13d` succeeded.

The only tree delta from the previously gated head is #245's prompt-wake test repair in `crates/spt-daemon/src/broker.rs` (+7/-3). W4 production/test changes are unchanged. The previous Windows failure was the reported W2 prompt-wake race; this is not a same-SHA retry. New-head CI is pending, not claimed green. Prior local W4 proof remains in the PR body; no local native rerun is claimed for this rebase.
