## Scope

All five items in DOCS-NITS-0672-JIT.md, plus the requested project-anchor clarification, by replacement, with no runtime feature:

1. One coherent IO `seq` bullet states reserved/unemitted today and future open-turn absence until idle/next-input commit, linked to the digest contract.
2. `api hint` help names api-level `--manifest` placement and the registered `--adapter` route; regenerated CLI reference from freshly prebuilt workspace binaries. Corrected the matching API-page claim too.
3. One canonical hints match rule states literal substring behavior, regex case sensitivity, invalid-regex behavior, and single-quoted TOML examples. Monics links to it.
4. Boundary `seq`, IO `seq`, and `digest_seq` are documented as reserved/unemitted; populated examples and false truncated-remainder recovery promises removed. COMMUNE payload is capped at16 KiB, head retained, not digest-backed.
5. `poll` owns the same-spool/first-taker contract and `listen` links to it.
6. Define the project anchor as the endpoint's recorded working directory and its absent/inside-spt-home exceptions, immediately beside #276's no-project-anchor behavior in the echo-commune contract.

Exactly one Rust doc-comment changed; no wake parsing, payload retention, or emission feature added.

## Verification

Runtime/docs gates exercised at original lane commit `6260f508` on base `04e32c8c`, in `.worktrees/docs-nits-0672` with its own `docs-nits-0672` pool:

The browser followed monics -> hints, frames -> digest turn-sealing section, and listen -> poll, finding the target heading in each case. The first digest-link smoke sampled before navigation settled; waiting for the target selector proved the existing anchor without a source change.

Every leg retained `.raw` and `.exit` evidence in `.spt/gate`; exit files were read. Disk floor log included free_bytes220244467712 against floor_bytes34359738368. No project-wide test suite was added or run for this documentation lane.

## Rebase / pick fidelity

Rebased local `30411838` (the original five items plus the requested anchor sentence) onto `17815c9c04be73bfb63a3649071d6101dbd131e5`:
- Current head `bb25787aee5e809b1ab00581c4e990b158af05f3`.
- Previous published head `d5b0a123cb499887f534a38388e7648dd01e545b`; the anchor sentence was added locally before the adapter-update signoff.
- `git range-diff` shows only surrounding #276 context changes, not lane-content changes.
- `xtask pick-audit`: `30411838 -> bb25787a`, 1 match, 0 drift/loss/unclassified; 123/123 lines, digest `3a113d322fd2` on both sides, exit 0.
- At `bb25787a`, `traceable-reqs check --json` and `mdbook build docs-site` both exit 0. Evidence: `.spt/gate/resume-{pick-audit,traceability,mdbook}.{raw,exit}`; all three exit files read.

Pre-rebase runtime results above are not relabeled as execution at this SHA. This PR's `ci.yml` run plus doyle's content diff are the ff gate. Product PR #191 lands first; another rebase awaits doyle's explicit updated target.

## Retraction audit

No replaced stale pointer/manifest/match-rule wording remains in published docs. The source sweep found pre-existing internal pointer comments in `spt-daemon/src/iobus.rs`, `spt-proto/src/ioevent.rs`, and `spt-store/src/iolog.rs`; they were left unchanged under this lane's explicit one-Rust-doc-comment boundary. Matching-engine source comments remain as implementation documentation, not a second published rule.

Head-retention wording was grounded in core `spt-proto/src/ioevent.rs`'s prefix slice and the claude-spt adapter's HEAD-KEPT handling, not inferred from the phrase head-truncated.
